Chris Baxter

aka Hairy Mandibles

Chris Baxter, aka Hairy Mandibles, is a creative catalyst and conduit for getting this party started. With over two decades of professional graphic and web design experience it’s the constant inspiration of pop and subculture toys, comics, novelties and all the things they told us would rot our brains growing up that have been a heavy influence towards becoming a 3D design artist.

When I'm not releasing the pressure valve on my brain's constant flow of ideas, I'm busy being a rad dad to two little girls that drive me to constantly improve and create. I've done work for everyone from mom-and-pop shops to fortune 500 companies across a myriad of well-known intellectual properties and licenses. I also love toys, and plan on making my own series. You can stay up to date on my personal and professional endeavors or get yourself some swanky t-shirts and goodies by checking in at www.gammabombstudio.com.

At Modern Weirdos he designs characters, contributes to all stages of production, and is deploying his original software tools to help us create new kinds of procedural illustration and art in the Modern Weirdos universe.

When not working on Modern Weirdos or arm wrestling his son, Ian is the artist behind the colorful, pulpy works at voidstrummer.com
